Operation Write Home Memorial Day Blog Hop

click image to go to the beginning of the blog hop!

Welcome to the OWH blog hop for Memorial Day!  I am sending this little Any Hero card out, straight from my backyard where there might be some holiday barbecuing going on!

I used sketch #191 from Operation Write Home, which you can find here.  They have so many sketches that I find it's a great resource.  I do love  sketches!

The papers are all from my stash, but I can tell you the patriotic papers come from an Authentique 6x6 pad called Pride.  The image and sentiment are from My Favorite Things. This little set is quite new to me and I've had fun coloring with my Prisma colored pencils. there are a few different sayings that fit onto her blackboard. The little button is an embosslit from Stampin' Up, I love buttons on cards and these "faux buttons" help keep the card from getting too bulky!

Thanks for hopping over to my blog - and please visit as many blogs as you can an leave a comment!  Let's show our troops how much we appreciate them this weekend and everyday!
