Do any of you know what Disc Golf is? Most people think it's just throwing a frisbee around, not true! They are called DISCs - and they are made to do a variety of things, there are putters, drivers and such. Just like "real" golf.
There are courses all over - in the Lake Tahoe area there are 5 that I know of. On a recent vacation to the west side of the lake we visited 3 of them. The first stop was in Truckee - nice course along the Truckee River. Then where the photo is shot is in Tahoe Vista, on the north shore. This was my favorite. The guys are looking out to the lake from one of the holes up on the mountain - you can't see the lake really well because of all the smoke from all the California fires. The other course we went to was in South Lake Tahoe, Bijou Park. There are 28 holes there, what a work out!
I don't disc golf, Mark and Chris do! I do the hiking around, spotting of lost discs and photography! Yes, discs can get stuck in trees, or lost in the manzanita! Sometimes you cannot even see the basket from the tee pad!
