Tahoe in the Fall

this past weekend we went up to Lake Tahoe - stayed on the west shore, which we seem to like more and more. Quiet and close to most of the things we like to do. This time the cabin we rented was right above Ward Creek - so we could hear it gurgling away while we were out on the deck. I can only imagine what it must sound like in the spring. Our big hike this trip was the 9 mile round trip Rubicon Trail from D.L. Bliss State Park to Vikingsholm in Emerald Bay. Perfect weather - good hike - beautiful scenery!

You make me so homesick, Nancy. I am from Reno and so far from home. Thank you for sharing.
