Happy New Year

the new year didn't a very good start at our house, however we are working through the rough spots and hoping for much improvement soon! My MIL will soon be moving into a new "home" - a Memory Care facility since she has Alzheimer's. It's no longer feasible to keep her in a home environment with help from a caregiver during the day. While the decision was quick, finding just the right place was not easy. We toured many places, and finally found the one that seems to be the right fit. I think in the long run she'll actually do better there with a schedule and activities to keep her occupied.

So that means that I've done little on the stamping front in the past week or so, but I am trying to get back into it. The weather here in the Bay Area has been quite chilly - for us anyway! But when the temp. in your garage is 50 or below and that's where your creative space is it makes it a wee bit uncomfortable!

This card is made using a new technique Faux Designer Paper from the latest Technique Junkie newsletter. All the gorgeous stamps and paper are Club Scrap/Stamp. You can find links to both these places over on the right side of the blog.
