Distress Stain Dip

I have been having fun making a ton of backgrounds using the Distress Stain Dip technique from the latest Technique Junkie Newsletter.  I used Distress Stains in these colors; Dusty Concord, Rusty Hinge and Spiced Marmalade.  This was really a "use your stash" kind of card.  I gathered cardstock that's been in the cupboard forever and the background web paper is from Bella Blvd. and I won it from May Flaum's blog a year or more ago.  The button is from last year (thanks Jen) and the only thing fairly new is the glittery spider which was purchased this year.  The stamp is from Penny Black, and I've had it for a few years.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Club Scrap, American Crafts
Background Paper: Bella Blvd.
Stamp: Penny Black
Inks: Distress Stains, Ranger Archival Black
other: spider, button and bakers twine.

Love this card. That Penny Black stamp is a very cool Halloween image. The Distress Stain Dip is lovely, too. Or should I say, spooky? It's a great technique providing a lot of bang for the buck. Or whatever.
