The blackboard look is very popular lately, from resturants to Safeway ads, so it's hardly a surprise that it's popular in stamping now. I was cutting out some shapes with my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and intended to use black as a mat when it dawned on me that the blackboard technique might be quite striking.
I used the matching CTMH stamp and then added patterned paper from an Echo Park 6x6 pad (This & That) and then some washi tape to coordinate with the red brad marking birthday. Click on the image to embiggen and see the card better!
