WCMD - Blog Hop with OWH

Today is a big day in the lives of card makers everywhere!  And I am hoping to get the rest of my cards packed and shipped off to OWH.  I've been busy working on some holiday and winter themed cards to make the early bird deadline of October 15th.

There's a big blog hop going on with Operation Write Home, you may have come from a link from their blog, but if not be sure to head over to the Stars and Stripes blog to catch all the action!

For the blog hop we were asked to make a thank you card using one of the OWH sketches.  If you are ever in need of some inspiration check out the "library" of sketches they have here.

For this card I chose sketch #101 and followed it pretty closely.  The cardstock is some nice heavy weight navy from Club Scrap and the patterned papers are from Authentique.  I used my handy pennant punch from Stampin' Up for the banner.  The saying is from Embossing Arts, I've had this thank you stamp for a long time, I love the look of it.
